“Charm of Chinese Landscaping” Workshop (School Groups)

Students could step into the shoes of a Chinese imperial architect and delve into the art of Chinese landscaping. Continue to explore the finest collection in the museum from an architect’s perspective after the workshop for free.​

What students will get from this workshop:​
• Discover History: Gain an understanding of the historical background and architectural features of the Imperial Garden of the Forbidden City.​
• Get Creative: Participate in a hands-on session to design their own garden using the borrowing scenery technique, incorporating natural elements like trees, mountains, and plants. Plus, students get to take home or school their creation!​
• Collaborate and Build: Work together to construct a large, collaborative garden.
